Building a cohesive unit on the
line of scrimmage is very important. Just like the Offensive Line,
the Defensive Line needs to have all parts working as one for the
success of the team. If the Defensive Line is doing its job, then
the Linebackers and Defensive Backs can do theirs.
I want this year’s D-line to make
all the tackles and squeeze in a few sacks so they can do the
dancing and prancing, but the only way to do that is to have
everyone come to practice and learn how to work with their
teammates. Like they say, practice makes perfect and that is the
truth! If you don’t know what you’re doing or what your teammates
are doing, then you will be the weak spot on the line. Trust me
when I say that your opponent will pick you out and exploit your
butt!
We all want to make the playoffs
this year and the only way to do that is to have full team scrimmage
time at practice so both sides can get used to seeing what they will
be going against in game situations. Plus we can work on your sack
dances at practice too!!!
Clog a gap!
