ARBOR, MI, April 22, 2007 - The Tree Town Spitfire (1-1) fell to the
National Women’s Football Association powerhouse West Michigan Mayhem 50-0
(2-0) last night at Mayors’ Riverfront Park in Kalamazoo. Six Spitfire
turnovers and Mayhem control of the line of scrimmage put the Spitfire in a

Spitfire performance of the evening was that of rookie Leilani Russell who
made twelve tackles and broke up two passes in her first start at free
safety. Russell also returned two kicks for 40 yards. Rookies Jennifer
