June 18, 2005 - The Toledo Spitfire faced the Erie Illusion
at Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA for their last game of the season.
The ladies were looking forward to this game because it was the last

ROSSFORD, OH - June 4, 2005
- In this game it was the Pittsburgh Passion as they defeated the
Spitfire 53-0. The Spitfire did play a good game, but the Passion
was the stronger team on the field.

The day was mostly cloudy, with the sun
coming out shortly before the game started. There were a few showers
around the area and just before and just after halftime two rainbows
were seen in the sky above the stadium.

May 21, 2005 - We are now past the halfway point in the
season and the Spitfire’s record is 0-4, but they are showing many
signs of improvement in their play. This was most evident after the
second home game of the season against the Milwaukee Momentum.

May 14, 2005 - The Toledo Spitfire has taken another road
trip. This time they traveled just north of Kalamazoo, MI to the
town of Otsego to face the SW Michigan Jaguars.

That’s right, the Toledo Spitfire
opened their home season with a game against the Baltimore Burn on
Saturday April 30th. The women of the Spitfire were
pumped up about playing in front of the home crowd, so much so that
they were dancing to “YMCA” during early warm-ups as it was being
played over the PA system.
